A group of students from the Computer Science Department at the University of Technology visited the General Company for Electronic Systems — UR Products.
The students toured the production lines, the research and development laboratories and the showroom, and were introduced to the full manufacturing journey a product passes through: needs study, engineering design, prototyping, component manufacture, assembly, programming, technical testing, quality testing, approval, packaging and delivery.
The engineering team discussed the software, control systems and cyber security work carried out at the company, and the routes open to graduates who want to build a career in national electronics manufacturing.
