Visit of the Midland Refineries Company — Doura Refinery

The Doura Refinery delegation reviewed process control, fire safety and hazardous-area monitoring systems.

A delegation from the Midland Refineries Company — Doura Refinery, Ministry of Oil, visited UR Products for a detailed technical review.

The briefing concentrated on distributed control systems and their integration with SCADA and PI for corporate reporting and remote monitoring, explosion-proof cameras and stainless-steel operator terminals for hazardous refinery areas, petrochemical thermal network monitoring, and complete fire detection and suppression including CO2 systems and fire pump skids.

Control room design was reviewed in depth, covering the video wall, operator consoles and the integration that brings camera, fire alarm and process data onto one set of screens.
